Join us for two seminars in August on Daniel Defoe’s 18th C. tale of adventure and survival, Robinson Crusoe. We will discuss the novel in two sessions.
Reading Schedule:
- August 17th – first half of novel (end with “But now I come to a new Scene of my Life.”
- August 24th – finish novel
Discussions take place from 5:30-6:45 in downtown Fairhaven at 1106 Harris Ave., Suite 307. The format is simple: read the assigned pages for that day before you arrive and compose a short question about the reading. The cost of the two-week seminar is a sliding scale. A copy of the book is not included in the cost of the seminar. We recommend the Oxford World’s Classics paperback edition, but any edition will work just fine.
