Franz Kafka and Flannery O’Connor are two of the great short story writers of the last century. What does a day look like in the Writing Life summer camp? We discuss a story by Kafka or O’Connor together in morning seminar, then head to the woods for lunch and creative writing and recitation. This is an opportunity to read great literature in community, learn habits and skills of the writing life, and enjoy the wonders of the Pacific Northwest in the summertime.

Recommended for teenagers who love to read and write.
