Charlotte Mason was a teacher and philosopher in Victorian England whose insights into education and childhood continue to be a valuable influence homeschoolers today. The motto of Mason’s schools was: “Education is an atmosphere, a discipline, and a life.”

Join us on Wednesdays in May and June from 4-5:30 p.m. for an in-person parent seminar on Mason’s A Philosophy of Education, which distills lessons from her lifetime of experience teaching children and adults.

  • June 5th: Book 1, Chapter 10 (Section I-II)

  • June 19th – Book 2, Chapter 1-Supplementary
