Our day camps are week-long literary adventures that combine reading and writing (or acting!) with time outside.

Shakespeare in the Woods: Hamlet

Enjoy Shakespeare with friends in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest! You need to act out Shakespeare and read him aloud in order to really get him, and this week-long day camp is a chance to act and recite without an audience. We will read and perform Hamlet, go on hikes in the woods, and learn how to move and speak on stage.

Recommended for teenagers who love to read. Acting experience not required!

What Parents Say About Us

“The Fairhaven Program was just what we didn’t know we were looking for! It has been a gift to both our daughter and our entire family. Of course, we can never know exactly how one thing will lead to the next, but in the story of our daughter’s life, we count the Fairhaven Program as a most significant ‘inciting incident’ in her present season of adolescent growth and development.”
