Poetry in the Woods

This is a camp for teens who love to read and write poetry. We will write poems, do creative writing exercises, go on hikes, and read great poems. Lots of writing. Lots of reading. Lots of time outside. Campers get to experience a fun, rigorous writing curriculum that will challenge them to take their poetry writing and reading to the next level.

Where are the classes held?

Morning seminars are held at the Fairhaven Program, 1106 Harris Ave., Suite 307. Our afternoons are spent in the nearby 100 Acre Woods.

Are books and materials provided?

Yes. All registered students are provided with books and materials.

Is there homework?

Students are expected to complete assigned readings and exercises each week in order to participate meaningfully in camp activities.
